1) Who We Are
MEGA WORLD LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates URL-Shortening.com and related tools, applications, APIs, and services (collectively, the “Service”). Our principal place of business: Texas, United States.
2) Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, using the Service, or clicking “agree,” you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any plan-specific or feature-specific terms we present (collectively, the “Agreement”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
3) Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required by local law) to use the Service.
- Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
4) Description of the Service
The Service lets you create shortened URLs and QR codes that redirect to destinations you choose, manage links and metadata, and view analytics such as click counts, referrers, countries/regions, devices, and timestamps. We may employ protective measures (e.g., bot detection, rate limits, Safe-Browsing style checks) to reduce abuse.
Important: Short links are not a secrecy mechanism. Others may guess, share, or brute-force short links. Do not place sensitive personal data in destination URLs or query strings.
5) Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content
You must comply with all applicable laws and these rules. You may not use the Service to:
- Distribute phishing, malware, spyware, adware, or conduct DDoS, fraud, or other abuse.
- Infringe or violate others’ rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights).
- Share or redirect to illegal content, including CSAM, exploitation, or content that incites violence.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages; conduct misleading or deceptive practices.
- Bypass paywalls or access controls unlawfully, or interfere with the Service’s normal operation.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale without permission, or circumvent rate limits or security.
- Include sensitive personal data in URLs (e.g., financial account numbers, health data, government IDs).
We may review, block, or remove links that we reasonably believe violate these terms, and we may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or severe violations.
6) Your Content & Licenses
You retain ownership of your content and destination URLs. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service (including generating analytics, previews, or security scans). You represent and warrant that you have all rights needed to use and redirect to your chosen destinations.
7) Custom Domains
- You may connect a domain you control. You are responsible for DNS management and renewal.
- You represent that your use of the domain and the links created under it complies with this Agreement.
- We are not a registrar and are not responsible for domain availability, DNS outages, or misconfiguration.
- Upon termination, we may remove our DNS records and disable redirects for your domain.
8) API & Developer Terms
- Access tokens are confidential. Do not share or embed them in public code.
- We may publish rate limits and throttle or block requests that exceed them or appear abusive.
- Do not use the API to build a competing link-shortening infrastructure offered to third parties without our written consent.
- We may modify or deprecate API endpoints with reasonable notice for breaking changes.
9) Plans, Pricing, and Payment
- Subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period unless canceled.
- Fees & Taxes. You authorize us or our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide. Listed prices may exclude taxes; you are responsible for applicable taxes.
- Refunds. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable and non-creditable.
- Fair Use. We may apply fair-use or technical limits (e.g., link volume, API calls, bandwidth) to preserve service quality.
- Changes. We may change prices or plan features with reasonable advance notice. Changes take effect in the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated.
10) Service Availability & Support
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but interruptions may occur (maintenance windows, network/CDN issues, provider outages, force majeure). Features labeled as “beta,” “preview,” or “experimental” are provided as-is and may change or end at any time.
11) Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (e.g., TLS, access controls, logging). No method is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and API tokens and for configuring your own systems (e.g., DNS, web servers) securely.
12) Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. If you are a business customer and need a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) for controller-processor relationships, contact us.
13) Intellectual Property
We and our licensors own the Service, including software, designs, and trademarks. Except for the limited right to use the Service under this Agreement, no licenses are granted by implication or otherwise. You may not remove or alter proprietary notices.
14) DMCA / Copyright Complaints
If you believe content accessible via a short link infringes your copyright, send a notice to here with: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification of the infringing material and its URL; (d) a statement of good-faith belief; (e) a sworn statement under penalty of perjury; and (f) a physical or electronic signature. We may remove or disable access and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.
15) Third-Party Sites
Short links redirect to third-party destinations we do not control. We are not responsible for those sites, their content, or their policies.

18) Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of this Agreement or applicable law.
19) Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service (or specific links) if we reasonably believe a violation has occurred, to prevent harm, or to comply with law. You may cancel at any time via your account settings; cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may disable or delete links associated with your account in accordance with our data-retention practices.
20) Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., email or in-product). The updated Terms will be effective when posted or on the stated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
21) Export & Sanctions
You must comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws and may not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions or are located in an embargoed country under U.S. law.
